Nouns Packet #4 - Plural Nouns: Rules 7-11. This Cracking the Grammar Code instructional packet contains 14 activities with the following goals: Sometimes, instead of adding a letter or letters at the end to form the plural, the noun itself changes. When a singular noun ends in -is, the ending changes to -es when the noun becomes plural. To form the plural of a singular noun ending with -us, change -us to -i. For many two-word or three-word compounds, -s is added to the principle word to form the plural. Some nouns are traditionally plural but are also used for singular forms. Includes pretest. Fillable worksheet format.
