Cynthia Robinson is the Founder of We Hear Here (wehearhere.org), an
organization providing Listening and Spoken Language services for families,
children and professionals. She is a past
faculty member and Co-Director of Clarke Schools for Hearing and
Speech-Jacksonville, FL. She has developed self-contained classroom programs,
resource programs and mainstream programs in three states. She is the author of the Mainstream Assessment of Readiness for Children over Five (MARCOF) and “APT/HI and Literacy: Practical Applications for the
Kindergarten and First Grade Child,” in A Guidebook for the Auditory
Perception Test for the Hearing Impaired, Allen, Susan G., Plural
Publishing, 2015. She has worked with children in public and private school
settings and as a private consultant for over 40 years. She has presented both
nationally and internationally on mainstreaming considerations and literacy
development for children who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Judy S. Sexton, MS, CED
LSLS Cert AVEd, is the Chief Program Officer of Clarke Schools for Hearing and
Speech. She has worked at Clarke since 2005 and has worked in the education
field for 42 years. She holds a BS in education and an MS in deaf education, as
well as principal and special education supervisory certificates. Judy served
as principal in a K-8 school for five years as well as a mainstream teacher of
the deaf for over 10 years; has presented at local and national conferences;
was an adjunct professor at La Salle University in Philadelphia and authored
the published article Readying Mainstream Classrooms & Schools in
AC&E Magazine: ace-ed.org.
